China does not allow access to YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.. These platforms are blocked by China's internet censorship system, often referred to as the "Great Firewall of China. This system restricts access to many foreign websites and social media platforms to control the information that can be accessed within the country.

It does allow a heavily censored version of TikTok.

This should be reason enough to ban it since American companies are banned from operating there.
