I'm sorry things have been so tough for you. I just hit the 3-month mark on the 6th of September so I'm not quite to your point yet.

When I got laid off they gave me an outsourcing coach that assured me that companies look for experience over age, but based on your story I'm not sure that's true.

I wrote an article recently after this addressing the benefits of hiring older people, but the overall concept is probably falling on deaf ears to companies hiring people.
