Shimmer and Glow

A poem

Photo by Toan Chu on Unsplash

Fluorescent,
luminescent,
incandescent,
how you glow

Your beauty
knows no boundaries,
lean in
embrace the flow

Your hair like silk,
a taffeta,
a cascading
blinding sheen

Your skin as soft as
babies' breath
a whisper
like a dream

Your voice angelic
from above
clear and
never gruff

Your touch
assures like nothing else
I hope I am enough.
