Since the advent of the internet, fame has become a sliding scale. Pre-internet you had to be a CEO, an athlete, or a TV or movie star to become a household name.

Now there are people on YouTube, TikTok and instagram that are successful, but if you are only famous to people that follow you, and no one outside that circle has ever heard of you, that does not equal fame.
