Succeeding in any creative field is hard. Do you know how many friends I have that want to be comedians? Do you know how many friends I have that want to be actors? Do you know how many friends I have that want to be writers?

Some will be successful. Most will not.

I don't write on Medium to make money. I do it to get my ideas and poetry out there. I also don't write everyday, because as you have shown, output does not always equal financial input.
