Thank for reading and telling me your story, Kim. Retirement may become the only option for me.

My first option may start with the Rule of 55. This allows employees to make penalty-free withdrawals from their 401(k) or 403(b) retirement accounts if they leave their job and are at least 55 years old.

This should (emphasis on should) get me to 59 1/2.

Then the Rule of 59 1/2 states that individuals can withdraw money from a tax-deferred retirement account without incurring a 10%.

Also, I have Roth where you can always withdraw the principal anytime completely tax-free.

Wishing you well ❤️‍🩹.
