That statement may be slightly hyperbolic, but here is what I meant. I didn't have a serious gf until my sr. year in college. I stayed with her all sr year.

At the end of the year me and my friends had a party, and no less than 5 girls came up to me that day and asked me why I never asked them out.

So over all my years in HS and college, I was pretty shy with girls, and who knows how many really liked me that I never knew about!
